Building Up Your Holy Faith.

 

Text: Jude 20 (KJV)

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

If I asked every one of you reading this blog now, do you want to be rich? Your response will definitely be yes. You will even say that you want to own this number of buildings and have a lot of money in your account. This is possible only by the help of God, but if I asked you, do you want to be rich spiritually? Some people will be like “mmhm”, “yes”, “maybe”, “I think so”, “not really sure”, etc. Now I will ask you, how will you feel if those physical buildings of yours got burnt down or collapsed? Definitely you will be feeling anger, sad, lost, some will even be in denial; this shows us that earthly things are only temporary. The truth is, spiritual matters needs effort for its growth and development, but once it has been built on a solid foundation, it can never be overshadowed by external force.

Being rooted and grounded in faith is the most important thing all children of God should do. I tell you, being strong in faith is a process which I will encourage you to embark on it because by the help of the Holy Spirit, it strengthens and quickens our mortal body; and this in turn will move our hearts and directs us in line with God’s plan.Colossians 2:7- Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.This process does not just end here, but it also teaches us to pray in the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:26- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.So this means there is a lot in store for us, we just need to break our walls of limitation so as to access the heavenly endowments. God’s arms are wide up to accept us, we just need to spend more time in intimate relationship with Him and I pray He will translate His colorful self to us, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, help us to build according to the foundation Jesus and the apostles have laid as the chief corner stone,in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, may our building be the habitation of God as we are framed together for growth,in Jesus name.
