Text:
Ephesians 5:15-16 (KJV)
15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but
as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are
evil.
In Ecclesiastes.3:1- To everything there
is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. We are told that there is time for everything, and this is the time
for us to wake up and maximize or make good use of the time and season given to
us. Many of us are so relaxed while some say, “there is no time”, but we must
stop this attitude so as to invest our time wisely. We know time is a life
currency, and when it is well invested, it makes a profit. The same goes for us
who are reading this now. We are in desperate times, and we must make good use
of every chance we get. Psalms 90:12- So teach us to number our days, that we may apply
our hearts unto wisdom. There is a need for a step-to-step
adventure if we must redeem our time well. We meet people who have no regard
for time. And I know a lot of us are not comfortable with such attitude.
We must learn to be TIME CONSCIOUS, so as not to waste the valuable time given to us.
We need to learn to have a schedule, work with it, and not give excuses or
procrastinate. As believers, we should not work with
“African Time” as it is popularly described. We should always prioritize our
day as it makes life more interesting. We should rather have JESUS TIME as He made maximal use of
His 33 years of life here on earth. Although the days are evil, we should be
wise and intelligent to take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way.
This is the best moment to invest our time as to yield results rather than mere
busywork with a barren pursuit. So I urge you today to be conscious of the time
you have because you do not know when it will be taken from you.
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Father, please help us to walk and live
by your purpose, in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord, please help me to understand
your will so as not to give excuses for the time given to me, in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Are you investing your time, or are you wasting that opportunity?
