Text:
Mark 16:3-4 (KJV)
3And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the
stone from the door of the sepulchre? 4 And when they looked, they
saw that the stone was rolled away; for it was very great.
I know many of us, or should I say all of us,
would have faced one difficult situation or the other. If you cannot remember
any right now, you can use this pandemic as an example. The truth is, when we
were in that situation, we had some particular questions in our hearts, which
were: who will do this or that for me? Who will help me or who will give me the
solution to this problem? I believe we must have had more questions, but the
most important thing is, whatever that difficult situation may be, it has been
rolled away. From our text of today, we see that the people who came to see and
anoint the body of Jesus came with the thought of “who will roll the stone”,
but they never imagined that the stone they were worried about was already
rolled away for them. The same goes for us as children of God. Many at times,
we tend to worry about that difficult situation we may be facing, which
represents the stone without us realizing that the stone has already been
rolled away. I tell you, Christ has already removed those obstacles, delays,
limitations, and hindrances on our journey of life.
The fact
that we thought to ourselves, “who will?” means that we cannot help ourselves,
and this also means that the stone may be heavy or may be too stubborn for us
to handle on our own, but the good news is Jesus is here to roll it away, and
He is holding all the strategies for our freedom. We just need to allow Him,
and I tell you, you will not see any trace of that burden again. You can try it
today. Ezekiel 37:3 - And he said unto me, Son of man,
can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. God is rolling away that challenge of
our life, and He has set an Angel to be on our side to open the door of all our
blessings, so celebrate Him and be grateful for the testimony ahead. I tell
you, no matter how tough that stone may be, God can still break it. Isaiah 49:24 - Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or
the lawful captive delivered? So do not give up and always remember the pain is temporary, and no matter how
long it lasts, it shall be replaced. You can turn that stone to become a
pillow and a pillar through Jesus Christ.
Also, remember no matter the challenge, there is an answer.
I pray God will help us, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father,
we decree that every stone hindering and limiting our sprouting, may they all
be rolled away, in Jesus name.
2. Father,
please may every stubborn mountain or stone be leveled and may it also be silenced,
in Jesus name.
3. Father, please
may all the laws and strategies set to keep us bound, be reversed, in Jesus
name.
ACTION QUOTE: Your situation may
seem too big for you, but it is so small to God, so relax.
