Text:Psalms 8:4 (KJV)
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the
son of man, that thou visitest him?
Have you ever
thought about someone so deeply like you have great concern for that person?
Most of us will say yes, and we know that once we hear good news about that
person that we were concerned about, we feel relieved, but that is not the same
with God. Think about it for a minute. God has made so much beautiful creatures
in heaven and on earth, but He chooses to be mindful of you. That means YOU ARE
SPECIAL. Wow!!!!! Wonderful. I know the majority or some of us will ask next:
why is God mindful of me despite all of His beautiful creation? Why is He
bothered about me? Some of us might even say: I am just a mortal man who is
like a puff of air, yet He still notices me. The bible tells us that He sees
something in us that we do not see. Romans 8:29a (NLT) - For God knew his
people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son. That is what distinguishes us from
all those beautiful creatures. The shocking part is that He has been mindful of
you even before you were conceived in your mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5- Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and
before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee
a prophet unto the nations. Isn’t that a great privilege? Now that you know this, all
your worries and sleepless nights should disappear instantly because He always
has you in mind.
The fact that God is mindful of us also means that He has
come down to visit us, and this means that our story has changed. Genesis 21:1-2- And the Lord visited Sarah as he had
said, and the Lord did
unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his
old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. When God visits, it is always to do
us good, that is why He draws near to us. The truth is that God visits the
people that He loves, so I urge you to humble yourself, so as to accept His
love and visitation today. Always remember He is planning and thinking about
you and He is always with you despite your situation (either good or bad), so
be ready for His visitation. I encourage you to believe and accept Him because
He is not a man that will lie. Numbers
23:19a- God is not a man, that he should lie;
neither the son of man, that he should repent. Also, never forget YOU ARE SPECIAL to
Him; that is why He is mindful of you. Hallelujah!!!!
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Thank you Jesus for your mighty visitation with
celebrations upon us, in Jesus name.
2. Father, thank you for being mindful of my life at all
times, even when I am ignorant, in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, please help me not to consider myself unworthy as God did not despise me in Jesus name.
