I am an Ambassador of Christ

Text:2Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

I want to share a testimony of God’s supply to the Man of God, Elijah. There was a famine in the land of Canaan, so the Lord told him to hide by the brook. He followed the instructions of the Lord, and the Lord sent the ravens to bring him food in the morning and in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

The same way each country have ambassadors as their representatives in other countries, so is it with the Lord, because He has sent us as His representatives in various societies and fields in the world. We are sent into wherever we find ourselves today, to represent our heavenly kingdom and also sent to represent Jesus here on earth, as our citizenship is in heaven. The amazing part about being an ambassador is that your country sponsors you, the same goes for us as ambassadors of Christ, but the difference is that your source never runs dry. It is flowing forever, compared to that of a country ambassador, whose privileges end once their responsibility and appointment end. This opportunity makes us as believers to have a higher privilege, but we must remember to fulfill our primary responsibility, which is to represent the KINGDOM’S GOAL accurately. We are Christ diplomats, and we are meant to be promoters of heaven as we advance the kingdom work. The best part is that all our requests and needs always come in abundance, and there is no delay. Philippians 4:19- But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore, represent him well and enjoy His ambassadorial packages, and remember you lose the benefits immediately you leave your position. But by His mercy, we will not lose our seat in Jesus name.

As Christ representative, we should speak boldly because utterance is given to us. Ephesians6:19-20- And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. You are a citizen of heaven, but also an ambassador here on earth, so do not forget that. MY SISTERS AND BROTHERS, PLEASE OPERATE AS ONE BY KNOWING WHO YOU ARE IN HIS KINGDOM. Your code of conduct must align with the kingdom you represent. Remember, we are in the world, but Christians are not of the world for our sufficiency is from above.  I pray we shall not lose our ambassadorship in Jesus name. 

PRAYER POINTS:

1.Help me Lord, to walk and live as Christ’s ambassador at all times, in Jesus name.

2.Father, please help me to understand that I am not an ordinary member of the kingdom but an ambassador of Christ in Jesus name.
