Behave Yourself Wisely

Text: Psalms 101:2 (KJV)

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

It takes a personal determination to live your life blamelessly. There are personal efforts and works that announces one in the open. So many virtues to develop in secret —a perfect heart dishes out wise counsel. There is a need for reformation of attitude and habit. We should conduct oneselves to a specific manner, especially towards others, which in turn rewards us. There is an acceptable way of conduct in a society that comes from individual efforts. We can carefully activate the right living by leading a life of integrity from the home front and by developing moral principles in our fields to model others. We must decide to refuse and reject specific ideas and crooked attitudes in this present generation where evil has become a way of life.

Daniel 1:8- But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. We have to be purposeful and create boundaries to the do’s and don’ts around us. Our values and choices must conform to God’s standard of living if we must influence our environment positively. The three Hebrew boys refused to bend or to sell off their faith. They are not mere wishes but they are calls for responsibility to accelerate dignity. It is your personality that approves you and not your introduction. It starts and ends with an outward and inward appearance that cannot be resisted.

1 Samuel 18:14- And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him. God's approval disqualifies man’s nomination. David behaved himself and God was continuous with him. No matter the changes we see in the world, wise behaviour will continue to bring approval and recommendation in our society if you must accomplish great success. Stable integrity is developed from the heart, to avoid being unstable in this environment, you are to keep to the status. The walk within you is what shows to the outside world, so make up your mind for the right living both inside and outside. If it is possible by one, you can be that right one that will model others. May we learn to behave ourselves at all times in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1)Oh Lord, may we be equipped with unique and extraordinary ability to stand out in our fields as we behave wisely, in Jesus name.

2)Father, help us to live and develop an exemplary life as to influence and model others positively, in Jesus name.

3) Oh Lord, help me to shine brighter like the star as I behave myself wisely, in Jesus name.
