Trust Him for the Unseen

Text: Hebrews 11:1(KJV)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Friends, we must recognize that life often requires our moving forward without seeing the full picture of the future. It takes faith to bridge the gap between where you are and the unseen. Yes, God calls us to trust Him even when the path is unclear, the outcome can be uncertain, or the journey feels long, but we are expected to also trust Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  Hence, faith is not believing in what we see rather it is believing in the God we cannot see who is originator. Therefore, trusting God for the unseen means releasing our control and resting in His promises that cannot fail. For instance, Abraham obeyed God’s call to go to a land he had never seen because there is an assurance of peace and joy as we trust God. Isaiah 55:8–9 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD

Interestingly, even when circumstances suggest doubt or fear, the unseen hand of God is at work behind the scene even to the details. Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.  So, our responsibility is to trust and obey God and His own responsibility is to deliver His promise at the appointment time. Stop arguing his schedule. But, we must remember that the unseen plan of God is always for good and not evil as His timing is always perfect no matter the delayed season. I pray God will help us to act in faith by meditating on God’s promises through His word in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT: 

Father, help me to remind myself of God’s faithfulness that He has shown in the past even when the full path at the moment is not visible in Jesus name.
