Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Friends, walking with God means choosing to live according to His ways and allowing Him to guide your steps and in so doing you are blessed beyond recognition. The scripture above begins by showing us that there is a blessing attached to living a life that honours God. It is not simply about what we have, but about having God's presence, wisdom, and direction in our lives. Hence, life will present many voices and different paths, but we must intentionally choose the path that follows God. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct our paths.
Amazingly, walking with God requires daily choices. Like Enoch, who walked with God, we should desire a consistent relationship with Him rather than seeking Him only when we need something. Genesis 5:24 - And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Therefore, let your words, decisions, relationships, and lifestyle reflect your walk with God. When God directs your steps, you can confidently move forward, knowing that you are walking in the right direction on a daily bases as God helps us in Jesus name.
Prayer Point:
Father, help me to walk closely with You every day and let my life always honour You in Jesus’ name.
Action Quote: Friends, choose to walk with God every day, because the safest and most blessed path is the one He leads.
