Meditate on God’s Faithfulness

 Text: Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Happy New Month of September.

Friends, welcome to the 9^th month. As we step into this special month of delivery, take time to meditate on God’s faithfulness. He has done us well. Hence, to meditate on God’s faithfulness means intentionally remembering His goodness, His promises, and the ways He has sustained us through every season in the past months.  Yes, there may be things we are trusting God for in this new month, but learn to focus on all the good he has done. So, whatever lies ahead, let’s keep your faith in Him alive. Certainly, God is faithful. His faithfulness is not dependent on our circumstances at the moment. He remains faithful when things are going well and when we are walking through difficult seasons. So, journey this season by reflecting on God’s endless acts of mercy and you will encounter many more. Deuteronomy 7:9 - Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments.

Amazingly, when we look back, we can see evidence of God’s faithfulness, such as doors He opened, battles He helped us overcome, prayers He answered, and even situations He carried us through when we had no strength of our own. 1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.  Remembering these testimonies gives us courage to trust Him with what is ahead.  Therefore, as you begin this new month, do not focus only on what you have not yet received. But, pause and remember how faithful God has been. Let His past faithfulness strengthen your present faith and give you confidence for the future in Jesus name

Prayer Point:
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness.  As I walk into this new month, help me to continually remember Your goodness, that will never fail me, in Jesus’ name.
