Be Steadfastly Minded

Text: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

 

Friends, being steadfastly minded means having a firm and determined heart that refuses to be easily moved by circumstances. Remember, life will bring unpleasant moments, but God wants us to remain firm in Him. So, when things do not go as expected, do not allow the pressure change your focus. It is time to keep trusting God as we remain committed to His Word. Sometimes, we become discouraged because we do not see immediate results from our prayers, efforts, or obedience. But God reminds us that our labour in Him is never in vain. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

 

Amazingly, we should learn to keep praying, keep believing, keep doing what is right, and keep moving forward. Your consistency today may be preparing you for the breakthrough God has planned for tomorrow. Like Daniel demonstrated a steadfast mind. Even when a decree was made against prayer, He did not change his devotion to God. Therefore, set your mind on God, remain unmoveablein faith, and continue to trust Him. Your steadfastness will not be in vain in Jesus' name.

Father, help me to remain unmoveable, even when I face challenges but strengthen my heart to keep trusting You inJesus' name.
