REMEMBER GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

Text: Lamentations 3:22–23

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Friends, we must never allow the challenges of today to erase the testimonies of yesterday. One of the greatest strengths of a believer is the ability to remember God's faithfulness in every season of life. The prophet Jeremiah wrote these words while surrounded by suffering and destruction, yet he deliberately chose to focus on God's unfailing mercy rather than his painful circumstances. Remembering God's faithfulness strengthens our confidence that the God who sustained us yesterday will never abandon us today. Psalm 103:2 – "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." Every answered prayer, every door God opened, every battle He fought, and every provision He made should become a testimony that builds our faith for the future.

Unfortunately, many people become discouraged because they focus more on what they have lost than on what God has already done. They magnify their present difficulties and forget the countless times God has delivered, protected, and provided for them. The children of Israel repeatedly forgot God's mighty acts, and their unbelief hindered their progress. Deuteronomy 8:2 – "And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee..." Therefore, cultivate the habit of counting God's blessings and reflecting on His goodness. A grateful heart attracts fresh mercies, renewed hope, and greater confidence for the journey ahead. Hence, may the Lord continually remind you of His faithfulness, strengthen your faith through every season, and fill your heart with thanksgiving as you step into a new month in Jesus' name.

Oh Lord, help me never to forget Your faithfulness in my life. Fill my heart with gratitude, strengthen my faith through every testimony, and help me to trust You for greater things ahead in Jesus' name.
