Text: Proverbs 3:5–6
Trust in the LORD with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge
him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Friends, one of the wisest decisions we can make
is to allow God to lead every aspect of our lives. Today, we struggle because we
rely solely on our own understanding, making decisions based on emotions,
circumstances, or human wisdom. However, God's plans are always higher than
ours, and His direction leads to peace, purpose, and lasting success. So, letting
God lead requires humility, and a willingness to surrender our own plans to His
perfect will. Therefore, as we acknowledge Him in our choices, relationships,
careers, ministries, and daily activities, He faithfully orders our steps and
protects us from paths that lead to disappointment. Psalm
32:8 declares, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt
go: I will guide thee with mine eye. God never leads His children into
confusion; He leads them in the way of righteousness and victory.
Surprisingly, some people ask God for guidance
but continue to follow their own desires without seeking His counsel. Others
become impatient when His direction seems slow and take matters into their own
hands, only to experience unnecessary struggles. Yet God's timing is always
perfect, and His guidance never fails those who trust Him. Isaiah 30:21 says, And thine ears shall hear a word
behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right
hand, and when ye turn to the left. Therefore, commit every decision to
the Lord through prayer, study His Word diligently, and remain sensitive to the
leading of the Holy Spirit. But, refuse to be driven by fear, pressure, or
impatience. As you allow God to lead your life daily, He will direct your
steps, open the right doors, protect you from costly mistakes, and fulfill His
perfect purpose for your life in Jesus' name.
Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, teach me to trust You completely as you direct
my steps, give me wisdom to make godly decisions, and keep me from every path
that is contrary to Your will in Jesus' name.
Action Quote: Remember, when God leads your journey,
every step moves you closer to His purpose, peace, and divine destiny.
