I Am in Your Midst

 

Text: Joel 2:27 (KJV)
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Friends, one of the greatest assurances we have as believers is the presence of God. He is not distant, silent, or absent but He is right there with you. Hence, in the middle of that situation, if God says, “I am in your midst,” be rest assured you are not alone in your struggles, your decisions, or your journey. His presence is your covering, your strength, and your confidence.  Sometimes, life can feel overwhelming, and you may wonder where God is, but His presence is not based on your feelings rather it is based on His promise. Even when you cannot see Him, He is working. Even when you cannot hear Him, He is guiding. Right in that situation you are facing, God is there, bringing order, direction, and peace.  The beauty of God being in your midst is that it removes fear and replaces it with assurance. So, no more shame because what looks like uncertainty will end in testimony because God is involved. Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.”

Amazingly, let’s carry the consciousness of God’s presence with you. Let it guide your decisions, calm your fears, and strengthen your faith. Throughout the day, remind yourself: God is with me. And in your quiet moments, reflect on how His presence has sustained you and brought you this far.  Matthew 28:20 assures us, “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” This is your confidence as God is not leaving, and He is not failing. So, we must learn to acknowledge His presence daily. Don’t only look for God in big moments but recognize Him in your everyday life. In your work, your conversations, your quiet moments, He is there. And when you become aware of His presence, it changes how you think, speak, and act. I encourage you to walk boldly and confidently because God is in your midst. You will not be put to shame, in Jesus’ name.

Oh Lord, help me to remain conscious of Your presence in my life. Let Your presence guide me, strengthen me, and remove every fear in Jesus’ name.
