Walking in God’s Strength

Text: Psalm 28:7 (KJV)
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped.

Friends, certain times, it may feel like your strength is not enough to carry you through. It is not time to rely on your own ability because you can become discouraged when you reach your limit. But today, you are encouraged to walk in God’s strength which is a strength that never fails and is always available to you no matter the obstacle, only trust in Him. Therefore, walking in God’s strength requires depending on Him daily rather than trusting in your own power. It is acknowledging that without Him, you can do nothing, but through Him, all things are possible. For instance, the apostle Paul experienced weakness, yet discovered the secret of divine strength. 2 Corinthians 12:9 – My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. This shows that God’s strength becomes evident when we surrender our weakness to Him.

Interestingly, walking in God’s strength requires humility and constant reliance on Him. Though challenges may arise and burdens may seem heavy, do not allow yourself to become weary. It is not about how strong you are, but how connected you are to Him. Isaiah 41:10 – Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.  This means that God not only strengthens you but also sustains you through every situation. The more you trust Him, the more His strength flows through you. Therefore, do not struggle alone, lean on God, draw from His Word, and move forward with confidence. His strength will carry you through in Jesus name

Prayer Points:

  1. Mercy God, help us to rely on Your strength daily and not on our own ability in Jesus’ name.
  2. Heavenly Father, strengthen us in every area of weakness and empower us to overcome in Jesus’ name.

Action Quote: Remember, your strength may fail, but God’s strength in you will never run out.
