The Resurrection Mindset

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Friends, the resurrection of Jesus is not just a historical event but it is a mindset we are called to live by daily. Hence, to have a resurrection mindset means to think, live, and respond from the place of victory, not defeat. Yes, many people are alive physically but still think like they are defeated and bound by fear with past mistakes. However, if you are risen with Christ, your perspective must change. You are no longer limited by your past; you are empowered by His victory. The resurrection mindset shifts your focus from earthly struggles to heavenly possibilities. Romans 6:5 -For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. When Jesus rose from the dead, He didn’t return to the grave, He stepped into glory. In the same way, God is calling us to rise above every weight that tries to pull us down. A resurrection mindset chooses faith over fear and purpose over confusion. It is a conscious decision to set your heart and mind on things above. So, you must refuse to think like someone who is still in the grave.

Amazingly, your mindset determines your experience. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace, this means when you align your thoughts with God’s truth, you begin to experience His life and His peace in every area. Even when situations seem dead or impossible, a resurrection mindset declares, God can bring this back to life. He is alive and you are alive with Him. Therefore, renew your mind daily through God’s Word, speak life over your circumstances, and walk in the reality of who you are in Christ. You are risen, you are victorious, and you are empowered to live above limitations in Jesus’ name.

1. Father, help me to develop a resurrection mindset and to think according to Your truth in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, empower me to rise above every limitation and walk in the victory of the resurrection in Jesus’ name.
