Rejoicing in God’s Handiwork

Text: Psalm 92:4 (KJV)
For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Friends, there are moments in life that challenges or uncertainties can try to steal your peace. But in such times, it is easy to focus on what is not working rather than what God is doing behind the scenes. But this scripture calls us to a higher order that we should learn to rejoice in God’s handiwork as they are powerful, and always good, even when they are not immediately visible. Hence, your life is not a product of chance; it is the result of divine craftsmanship. Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: However, every detail, every season, and every experience is part of God’s unfolding plan. So, choose joy by reflecting on what God has done and He is still doing in you. His handiwork is seen in creation, in your life, in your growth, and even in the battles He has brought you through. Yes, part of the greatest works of God happens quietly like within your heart, shaping your character, building your faith, and preparing you for what lies ahead. Let’s learn to focus on them.

Interestingly, rejoicing in God’s handiwork requires intentional reflection. If you only focus on present challenges, you may miss the evidence of His faithfulness. But when you look back, you will see His fingerprints everywhere like doors He opened, dangers He prevented, strength He supplied. Romans 8:28 assures us, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” This means even the situations you don’t understand are part of His divine work in your life. Therefore, choose to rejoice, not because everything is perfect, but because God is at work. Let your heart be glad in His process. Celebrate His faithfulness, trust His timing, and take confidence in His ability to complete what He has started in you. As you do, your joy will not be shaken by circumstances. And I pray we shall see His hand in every area of your life, fill your heart with gladness, and cause you to triumph in His works in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, open my eyes to recognize and rejoice in Your handiwork in my life daily in Jesus’ name.

Action Quote: Friends, choose to rejoice today because God is working in your life, and His works never fail.
