Stepping into God’s Plans

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026

Friends, it is a thing of joy as I congratulate and welcome us into year 2026. With a heart full of gratitude, we have boldly stepped forward into God’s plans for the next phase. God’s plans are always ahead of us and very great, not behind us. So, to step forward into His plans means releasing the safety of the familiar and trusting the faithfulness of God. Hence, our past cannot hold us back because we are standing on the plan and purpose of God concerning our lives. However, as our feet has stepped into the new year, we shall begin to experience beauty on every side as we ride on the wings of God. 2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight. So, our fears will not stop us but our faith will carry us into God’s promises this year. Therefore, we must keep our hope a life because in His plans nothing will harm us. Isaiah 43:19 - See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Amazingly, God does not reveal the full picture at once; He simply invites us to take the next step in obedience by moving forward and upward. Psalm 37:23 - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. However, faith grows when we move, not when we remain still. Though, stepping forward can feel uncomfortable because it requires trust. Yes, fear whispers failure but faith declares, God’s leading. Proverbs 16:9 - In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. So, it is important we recognize that when God calls us forward, He also supplies the grace, strength, and direction we need for the journey. LET’S GO with HIM. So, be confident into the new year as we build trust on the faithfulness of God because God has stepped in ahead of us to make all crooked ways straight in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Oh Lord, continue to order our steps as the righteous, and lead each step no matter how small to be guided daily by God’s wisdom, in Jesus name.
