Engage God First

Text: Mathew 6:33(KJV)

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Friends, we often make this costly mistake in solving our daily problems. Yes, we start to build our lives and settle our life challenges by our own strength and wisdom without involving God at first and we put Him last when the pressure is tensed. But, God is calling us to order by engaging Him first that means inviting HIS presence and divine wisdom before taking action. James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Hence, engaging God first is not just a spiritual exercise rather it is a step of faith that shifts the battle in our favor and disarms the enemy. Let’s ask God for guidance and strength before making plans. It is important we submit every plan and goal to God. Zechariah 4:6 - Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Interestingly, when we rely on His grace at the start, every step becomes empowered, every weapon becomes effective, and strongholds begin to crumble even before we face the obstacles. So, let’s learn to commit the day, our decisions, or battles to Him by submitting to His will. Isaiah 26:3-Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. In so doing, it helps us to walk in calm assurance that God is able to do all.  I encourage us to align our thoughts with the truth and He will answer us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Oh Lord, help me to activate God first in every area of my life before I act, decide, or plan for your presence is the power that I need for the expected victory in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, battles are fought and won by God’s power, not yours, so set your priorities right.
