His Sufficiency for the Future

Text: 2 Corinthians 9:8(KJV)

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Friends, the uncertainty of the future is a huge threat to many. Yes, the future often makes us to worry about the needs, responsibilities, challenges but the good news is that there are tomorrow’s opportunities, too.  Hence, we should live with that confidence and not in fear. Our sufficiency is in God as He is not only the God of now but also for our glorious future.  He reassures us that He will always be with us to the end by meeting all our needs. Just like He made double portion of manna for the children of Israel at the due time. He can give you today and have all you need to sustain your tomorrow. So, your future is not a mystery to God. Let’s stop the fear about the future because He has proven His sufficiency in the past. Philippians 4:19- And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Your sufficiency is not in your ability but in God’s empowerment.

Interestingly, before you step into the future God is already there as He goes ahead to make crooked ways straight. Mathew 6:31-33 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Yes, He steps in to prepare provision, strength, grace as He gives us direction in those areas of challenges. So, your future is not a shook to God and your needs cannot overwhelm Him. Cheer up and relax in His plan because your future is well prepared for in Jesus name.

Father, thank You because You are not only sufficient for today but also you are sufficient for my future as I keep my trust on you in Jesus name.
