Destroying Evil Pattern

Text:  Nahum 1:9(KJV)

What do ye imagine against the Lord? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Friends, we know certain negative cycle repeat themselves without explanation. But, the Word of God assures us that affliction does not have the authority to rise again when the Lord intervenes. Such cycles could be failures at the edge of breakthrough, battles that reoccur at specific seasons in the family to negative habits even up to national negativity. But, we can call on God through Jesus to break the evil pattern and reinstate the pattern of godliness.  Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Yes, such evil often return without your invitation. That is why we must be sensitive not to allow them rise up the second time. They more or less seem inherited from family lineage. But, we can align the family to godly inheritance today as to stop the satanic sequences designed to hinder our progress, frustrate and weary our soul. Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross

Amazingly, as believers in Christ, patterns can be broken and evil cycles destroyed. Through the blood of Jesus, believers have power to overthrow repeated attacks and establish new, godly cycles of victory, blessing, and favour. Galatians 3:13 - Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. God has not called you to endure the same battles forever. Hence, He has called you into liberty, light, and lasting dominion. God can raise you today as He raised Gideon for the children of Israel for their restoration from repeated cycle of oppression. Also, Ruth called out of the Moabites lineage into the lineage of Jesus. I pray the evil pattern holding us down shall no longer follow us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT: 

Oh Lord, destroy the sin nature that has persisted over the years to bondage, temporary relief and back to bondage. May it come to an end by the blood of Jesus for our restoration of peace in Jesus name
