Text: Joshua 1:8(KJV)
This Book of the
Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and
night that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein;
for then thou shall make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good
success.
Friends, God is showing us a kingdom
principle as answers are sustained by consistent confession of God’s
word. Yes, you don’t wait
to feel strong before speaking the Word rather we speak the Word to become
strong. It is important we realize that our tongue is a weapon and spiritual
tool for our expectations. Romans 10:8 But what saith
it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the
word of faith, which we preach. So,
what you declare consistently shapes your life. God never designed His Word to
remain only in your mind, He wants it on your lips. The Word
becomes powerful when it moves from the pages of Scripture into your heart, and
from your heart into your mouth. Remember, what fills your heart flows from
your mouth, so meditate on God’s word daily. Hence, let’s learn to replace
negative words with God’s word for our strength and victory. Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice
of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to
his name.
Interestingly, let His Word be the first thing
you say in the morning. Let it be the answer you give to challenges at all
times, let it be the response you make to doubts, and the declaration you
release into every new season. Psalm 119:13 With my
lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. Therefore, speaking
God’s Word is how we can align our lives with His promises, which will
ultimately silence the voice of fear, and establish His will over our
circumstances. I encourage us to speak God’s word intentionally over family,
work, health and future, today in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, let Your Word fill our hearts and
overflow through our lips as you help us to speak Your truth over every
situation today in Jesus name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Remember, God’s Word should not stay
silent in our heart but speak it, declare it and release it, today
