Lift up Gates

 

Text: Psalm 24:9-10 (KJV)

Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty—    he is the King of glory.

Friends, we live in a world of gates which grants us access to the goodies of our inheritance or hinders us. So, everyone and everything has gates to their spirit, soul and body. Yes, there are life barriers that tries to hold one back from attending to God’s utmost plan.  But, those walls and stubborn gates, no matter their heights they will give up as we introduce the king of glory with His word of power.  Therefore, as we interrupt the gates by the arrival of the King of Glory, it will open wide and we welcome our blessings and freedom today. So, the evil one with their make sure ancient gates will not stand as a hindrance to the next phase of our advancement in Jesus name. Hence from the scripture above, it is clear that there are everlasting doors against our lives. But - Palms 24:7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in." So, by faith in His word, we lift them up.

Interestingly, the goodnews is that as we give the King of Glory access to come into that closed gate with the Lord hosts nothing can withstand the glory of God upon our destiny. This is possible as we make room today for the presence of the host of heaven to come in.   Math 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. So, the forces that are challenging the glory of God in your lives will give up because our God is stronger and mightier than the battles and noise of many water in your life today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, help us to ascend to the hills with a pure heart as to enjoy the glory to come, despite the evil gates in Jesus name.
