Text: Psalm 91:9-10
(KJV)
Because thou hast made
the Lord, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil
befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Friends, there is protective
covering that shields one in the day of evil because the enemy has no schedule
with anyone. Yes, they work to and fro looking for who to devour. But, God’s
canopy of habitation is our place of refuge, peace, and divine glory. It is not
just a temporary shelter but a permanent dwelling place for us who seek Him.
Hence, no matter what you face today, let’s remember that we are under His
shadow, you are covered, you are strengthened, and certainly you are
victorious. “Psalm 121:5-6 The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your
shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by
night. But the question is, where is hiding place? That place of
refuge and safety that evil one will not see you. The scripture above gives us
the condition for his covering hence, when we make God our habitation, we can
be rest assured of His divine shield.
Interestingly, as we dwell
under His canopy nothing evil will befall us. So, as we make the decision today
to make God our hiding place, He takes us away from all appearances of evil. John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch
cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye,
except ye abide in me. Yes, there are arrows that fly by day and
night but they will not come near our dwelling place. Remember, there is a seal
and a mark of touch not upon your life just like the children of Isreal were
marked for exemption as He covered them with the pillar for cloud by day and
fire by night. I pray He will hide us today as we walk in glory by this canopy in
Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1. Father, in that day of ragging storm,
may your canopy hide us in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, you
have a refuge to run down for safety.
