Text: Jeremiah
30:17 (The Message)
As for you, I’ll come with healing, curing the incurable,
because they all gave up on you and dismissed you as hopeless—that
good-for-nothing Zion.
Friends, we must single ourselves out from
the general norm that have held many captive. Although, we are in a society
where many live with a wrong perception of insignificance and worthlessness,
but yours must be different. God is curing that today. Yes, the pressures of life has made many to live hopeless and depressed, I declare, it is no more. Though, our minds are going
through a lot of battles that are depressing, and we are crying for help, but our text above is giving
us an assurance to those quests
by saying “there is hope”. Also, Job 14:7- For there is
hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the
tender branch thereof will not cease.
Interestingly, our
text today says specifically “as for you,” and that indicates a promise which
is going to be your portion this season in Jesus name. Hence, let’s stop
looking at the battle of the mind from a physical point of view, rather we need
to change that attitudes as God is turning
things to your favour from within. Psalm 126:1-When the LORD turned again
the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Therefore, let’s look at things
with the eyes and the intent of the scriptures because once you do, you end
up seeing deeper than those situations which in turn build confidence into our
faith in God in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, let my current
challenge about feeling
of insignificance turn to a testimony even when they have dismissed me as
hopeless, in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, it is only God that can truly fill
your heart with worth and relevance.
