Be not moved

Happy New Year 2025 to everyone

Text: 1 These 3: 3-4 (KJV)

That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

Friends, there are unpredictable situations in our journey in life. But, we should learn to prepare for the challenges and uncertainties that shows up without time table. So, as we move on in life, anticipate obstacles, and remember to plan for setbacks too. This will make you to stay on course when difficult moments arise. It is for your honour and lifting, so do not faint. Ephesians 3:13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For so many people cannot forbear challenges, rather they prefer to be left alone, but when you remember, it is for your glory, you wake up with joy. But, we must be sensitive because God is sending on our way comfort that will come to establish us for our encouragement. Don’t be moved by those periods of afflictions, yes, it is for an appointed time and they will fissile out. But, the good news is that we have been told that we should suffer tribulation but it shall come to pass and not remain with us.

Amazingly, the tempter comes to try our faith in God just to make our labour to be in vain but thanks be to God because He has prayed for us and assured us it is a passage in life and not a bus stop. Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Let’s stand fast and live in Christ by faith. Therefore, let’s create moments of thanks to God again and again. There are certain things lacking in our faith that makes us to be moved in the face of adversity, hence, let’s acknowledge God so that He will direct our way unto Jesus that will make our faith to increase as we abound in love to the end that our hearts is stablished and unblameable before God. And that shall be our lifestyle in Jesus name

Oh Lord, may my tribulation experience bring consolation and salvation to my faith in Christ in Jesus name.
