Yoke or extra weight

Text: Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Friends, we must distinguish what you are compassed with as a load. There are times in life, we engage in things which become unnecessary loads and weigh us down. These weights draw us back from achieving and pressing to the mark but the scripture says His yoke is easy as we journey in life. Certain times, we drop some loads and carry some that still affect us which pulls us down from living right and they stand as a limitation which might be little but too difficult to drop. Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Hence, let’s define our own distraction now.

Amazingly, seeing we already have things surrounding us that we need to deal with, so, do not add extra weight because it will hinder you. Therefore, let’s get focused because the crowd can even stand as a weight including habits, but the way out is to be single-minded that lives us with extra-focus by uprooting the little weeds and forces that spoil your glorious vine. James 1:8- A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Therefore, we must be careful to identify those hindrances and strip them off our way as to end well in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, help us to boldly declare as we identity the secret weaknesses and cut-off from such negative influences as to avoid wrong decisions, in Jesus name.

Action Quote: Remember, the yoke with our role model - Jesus is easy, so bear it.
