Friends, it is a thing of joy and excitement that we made it into this glorious day of celebration. It is a day we commemorate the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. It is a treasured gift to humanity that cannot be denied because it is filled with silver, gold, precious ornaments etc. And this is evident by our decorations with lightings, exchange of gifts among other things. It is indeed cherished gift, valuable and expensive but for free. What a GIFT! May we not deny Him again today. 2 Cori. 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. So, Christmas means Christ for the masses. This is a treasured gift that we must jealously guide because of the several benefits that are packaged in this one gift. It is a holy thing as it came by an overshadowing power of the Holy Ghost.

Amazingly, it is the answer to all man’s need both in this world and the world to come. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. It is a message of grace, love and true light that brings illumination to humanity, as it grants us access to salvation experience. It reorders our priority and our minds as it gives us hope, deliverance and healing both physically and spiritually. Hence, it lavishes us with victory over sin by the release of the Holy Ghost power that qualifies us for his divine provision and protection into our glorious destiny. I pray that this treasured Christmas gift be revealed to us in this season in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, may this Christmas remind us of the universal desire of unity, peace, love and compassion as it is a multifaceted celebration in Jesus name.
