Christmas
WEEK
Text: Mathew 1: 21 (KJV)
And she shall bring forth a
son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from
their sins.
Friends,
we are in a significant season in our Christian faith, so, it is therefore
important to reflect on the purpose of His birth. Hence, the ultimate of them
all is shown on the scripture above which confirms the bringing forth of His
son was to redeem man from our sinful nature and translate us into the image of
His dear son. It is a mystery that is being incubated by the Holy Ghost that brought
about transformation from inside to outside of a generation both now and world
to come. Luke 2:11 For unto you
is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Therefore,
as we embrace Jesus the only begotten son of God, the sin gene which is Adamic
nature in us dies and our eyes are open to know good from evil. However, in this journey of preparation from
Abraham to the fourteenth generation for the fulfilment of the Prophesy that a
virgin shall be with a child and bring forth a son, and they shall call His name
Emmanuel meaning God with us, it is in this wise that we might be saved from
sin. And the question is, do you have an experience of JESUS in your life? Is He born into your life? If not we all have
another opportunity to embrace Him now as we accept, believe and confess the
person of Jesus as a new birth for the remission of sin. And today God is
giving us a new heart to accept Him as He is the only way, the truth and the
life. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for
there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be
saved. Welcome, as we are then separated
from the world system of life.
Amazingly,
Christ has come to reconcile man back to God as we now have access to the
throne of mercy. Therefore, sin and it consequence have no more dominion over
us. There is now no condemnation as we are in Christ with full assurance of
salvation to all, so we must not hesitate to embrace the birth of the master of
our soul. Jesus birth brought light over darkness that gave us boldness to say
no to man’s sinful nature. Remember, Jesus is the greatest and the highest and
God has enthroned him and He shall reign forever both in this kingdom and the
world to come. Luke 1:32 He
shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God
shall give unto him the throne of his father David. There is no end to His Lordship.
And I pray He shall be revealed to us afresh in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, may JESUS appear to every one
of us in this season for deliverance and escape in diver areas of our lives in
Jesus name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Remember,
not to resist his outstretch hand of salvation that is free for all by grace.
