Text: Hebrews 9:14 (KJV)
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead
works to serve the living God?
Friends, a clear conscience indeed
fears no accusation by living a life of deep conviction in our hearts. It is an
important part of human nature. This is only positive by reason of our
salvation experience which makes us to be strong will with deep affirmation in
Christ Jesus. And he takes a way a negative spirit that is always lying and
living an unrighteous life. Therefore, we need to bring our minds into
co-witness with the Holy Spirit. Acts 24:16 And herein
do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God,
and toward men. Hence, the
conscience is the remains of God’s image in a man after the
fall of Adam. The universal fact of this inner voice is important as we become sensitive
to the whispers of His Spirit that make us hate evil from within.
Amazingly, the
conscience is that faculty of man that evaluates our actions, thoughts, or our
choices which either accuse or excuse us of sin. It is our trustworthy
indicator which makes us to choose right or wrong. Hebrews 13:18 Pray for us: for we
trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But thanks be to God
who has regenerated our hearts to have a good and clear conscience in all our
adventures. 1 Timothy 3:9 Holding the
mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. We are no longer living with a seared
or corrupted conscience in which our decision are influenced negatively. But, the good news this morning is that the
blood of Jesus is cleaning our conscience today. As a matured Christian our conscience
shall be merged with the witness of the Holy Spirit that lives us with clear
conscience to good at all times in Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
Father, may we not obey the inner
voice of the sinners conscience that makes us to live an ungodly life in Jesus
name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Friends, do not defile the conscience by refusing the
