Text: Isaiah 61:7(KJV)
For
your shame ye shall have double: and for confusion they shall rejoice in their
portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy
shall be unto them.
Friends, there
is no level of misfortune that we get to, the Lord cannot restore us. For
example the life Job was a case study that we cannot imagine that he can still
recover all that he lost. Yes, his challenges was not based on his sinful nature.
The bible commented that Job was upright and trusted God in all. Unfortunately, he still went through losses,
pain, frustration and all what not. But, the goodnews is that, when God steps
in to restore, it affects all areas of life as God restores health, emotion, finance,
spiritual even relationships challenges. Joel 2:25 And
I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten. The cankerworm, and
the caterpillar and the palmerworm, my great army which I send among you.
Interestingly, God shows grace and restores all, for Job God
restored his fortunes and all that he lost when he prayed for his friends and
God gave him twice his possession, inspite of their suggestion to curse God and
die because of his predicaments. And he
lived to see several of his generations. Job.42:16-17
After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’
sons, even four generations. So Job died, being old and full of days. His
faith in God did not go down rather he was focused to the faithfulness of God,
as he declares I know my redeemer lives. He continued to seek God for answers,
and did not divert his confidence from the living God. And I pray we shall
continue to sought after God no matter our storms of life in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, by your grace after all the
suffering may God by himself restore us and make us strong again in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, if we can be patient for a while, there is hope of
restoration in all the storms of life.
