Joy of Companionship

 

 Text: Eccl.4:9-10(KJV)                                                                                                       ⁹Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.¹⁰ For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

Friends, it is a non-fact to all ages that loneliness is a major course for this risk of premature death and there is need to go against it. We should not entertain this risk any longer that have left us with negative impacts. In addition, it has affected our habits which has led to many devastating sicknesses in our time.  Is it not strange to hear different kind of strange diseases even among the young folds which are traceable to the aftermath of loneliness from different angle. Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. It is scourge that is driving this generation and we trust God for His divine intervention in Jesus name.

Unfortunately, in the world we are more connected to our technology than our social contacts. There is need to tackle this social isolation today because the negative effect is on the increase. Hmmmmmm. If, God in six days of creation saw that it is not good for man to be left alone, it truly means that it is not a good thing. Gen.2:18a And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone….. It is a mistake and many has fallen victim with this destructive habit which is an error and must be fought against. Remember, God brought us into the world through family unit and saved us into a family of God that means it is an important virtue to preserve. I pray we shall learn to nurture our relationships so that they shall become relevant guide to us at this important season of life in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:                                                                              

1. Father, may our church and academic community be a force that will swallow the cankerworm of loneliness for a fruitful living in Jesus name.
