Text: Joshua 1:5(KJV)
There shall not any man be
able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I
will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Beloved, as individuals, nations,
institutions or families, we have one expectation or the other, but God is
always making a promise through His word. Remember, Gods promise is not for a
season but to generations yet unborn. So, lets be sensitive to hear His voice today
as to avoid the wrong direction. Unfortunately, because of pressure we have the
tendency to doubt His leading. But the good news is that God will not fail nor
forsake us in all aspects of life. It is an assurance that you can count on in
season and out of season because God magnifies His name in you before
situations. He will not lie because of you. Isaiah 43:2 when thou
passest through the waters, I will be with thee: and through rivers they shall
not overflow thee: when thou walkest though the fire, thou shall not be burned:
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Indeed, that challenge is a
passage lane, so you can bank on His words, because from everlasting to
everlasting He is still God as He is the same God yesterday, today, and
forever.
Interestingly, as we hear and allow
the word to gain entrance into our spirit, it brings hope again to humanity. Therefore
relax, He is a covenant keeper as He did it to the men of old and even in our
contemporary times, so, He is still faithful and dependable. According to Hebrews
13:5b … for he has said I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. He is
reassuring us that, even in that lonely, difficult moment, fear not but be
strong and be courageous. God knows there are weak moments of uncertainties in
life that we shall pass through. Thereafter, He shall divide that inheritance for
a glorious testimony as He lives you with a token for good in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1.Oh God, grant us the grace not to
give up nor be weary at the pressure moment despite the frustrations around us in
Jesus name.
