The profitability of His Correction

 

Text:Job 5:17-18 (KJV)

Behold, happy is the man who God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: for he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

Friends, we have a God who corrects and rectifies our shortcoming from time to time. He is our helper. So, do not despise Gods discipline, yes, it might seem hard but there is a profit that awaits you and we shall laugh at last. The entirety of the word is to edify and perfect us in all adventures. I, therefore subscribe a daily tablet of God’s word which is the BIBLE.  2Timothy3:16- All scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  So, be excited when God steps in to correct you because as he scolds us with one hand, He corrects and heals our wounds with the other hand.

Interestingly, I urge us always to be happy when we receive those tips He drops on our way because He is a good and loving father to all ages. He is in the business of making us enjoy the blessings and rest in life. God does not want anyone of us to be lost, but instead, He is giving us an opportunity to change our ways despite our mistakes. Proverbs29:17- Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. Therefore, pay close attention to God's corrections because he is extraordinarily patient. As a loving father, His word come to rebuke us, so don’t underestimate His word rather accept it in good faith. I pray we shall all learn to make resolutions in our lives and also act on them in Jesus name.

1. Thank God for His corrections and help me to keep following your instructions in all matters and not selected few in Jesus name.
