Doing and Being Good

 

Text: Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV)

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Friends as we interact and pass by people, we leave memories in the mind of people on daily bases.  Yes, our actions can either help people have a good and bad memory about you. For instance, the Samaritan man showed compassion to the traveler and brought him to an inn and took care of him unlike the priest and the levite that passed and avoided him according luke10:30-37. And today he is known as THE GOOD SAMARITAN MAN. Though, we are in a world that doing good is now taken for granted, we must remember that doing good can be an opportunity for favour especially when done to the innocent person who might not be able to pay back. It can benefit you now or later even to generation yet unborn. It says in 2Thessalonians3:13- But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. Remember, we can be the part of them that are doing and also being good as it is an opportunity for your gain.

Interestingly, the beautiful part is that God created these opportunities for us to sow as seed, so that we can get more blessings. Friends, I tell you there is no wasted opportunity for any help you render. Acts 10:38- How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. This action also comes with many benefits, so do not miss out on it.  Indeed, we can be an instrument to show respect and kindness to other people as we are saved for good works. I pray we shall not stop doing good, because your harvest is not just on the way but it is here in Jesus name.

1.Oh Lord, open my eyes to see destinies to render help and minister to their necessities daily in Jesus name.
