My Present Helper

 

Text: Psalm 46:1 (KJV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble

Friends we have a safe place we run to hide in the face of any form of concern. And God is that place of safety and strength. He is a helper who is too close and extremely available to us but many fail to recognize His presence. But the scripture above reminds us that he is a well proved help that is impenetrable, so we have to lean on his ready help because that warfare is over by His presence. Psalm 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Unfortunately, so many people are busy facing the troubles of life instead of stirring at the overwhelming glory of His availability.  Amazingly, a lot don’t even know He is too available than the challenge before us and are distracted with the pressures of the challenge in which we focus our energy to the wrong direction.  And this has kept us longer on the troubles around us,

Interestingly, we should not live in fear because the God with us is leveling the mountains and the valley before us.  The roaring and the shaking notwithstanding, he is still calm and present to help in your boat as to show himself powerful. Friends, God shall be exalted with the presence of His host of armies in that storm. Psalm 46 :6 The heathen raged, the kingdom were moved, he uttered his voice, the earth melted.  And our God is over present from his voice to his glory at all times in Jesus name. 

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, help us to always call on you because the Lord is nearer than we can imagine, if only we call with a pure heart in Jesus name.
