Text: Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass,
if thou shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe
and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy
God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.
Friends, for us to experience any
increase, we must learn to listen to action. This requires us to choose to
respectfully and happily obey our makers in all things. It grows by reason of
intimate relationship which compels us to act. And as we clearly hear the voice
of God that we follow; although He speaks in diverse ways, we must learn to
comply with His standard as the Good Shepherd. So, the closer you are to him,
the more familiar you are to the tone of His voice. John 10:4- And when he
putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him:
for they know his voice. So, we
must learn to obey absolutely and in details for that ultimate result to come
by.
Amazingly, if I may ask, in the
journey of that decision today, do you
still hear His unique voice with specific instruction again? Or has it become
old pattern? Indeed, if you are part of his sheep, you must listen to his
voice at the start, middle, up to the ending point. The language of his voice
is HIS WORD. He said in this Word: my sheep hear my voice and follow. The truth
is that you either hear the voice of God or you will hear and obey the voice of a stranger. John 8:47- He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you
do not hear because you are not of God. So, I encourage you to hear and
follow his leading because that is how you can keep the channel of His
instruction open at all times. And God will make us active listeners in Jesus
name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1.
Father,
I disassociate myself from the wrong company that has become a barrier to the
clarity of my channel of communication with You and it has made me forfeit my
blessing in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, remember, it is the word of God that can help you to distinguish the voice of a strange.
