Be kind as a fruit

 

Text: Ephesians 4:32(KJV)

And be kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake hath forgiven you.

Friends, this is an important virtue that we must express if the spirit of God is in you.  Everyone is desperate for kindness. So, we need its application in all. It is a proof of godliness and evidence of His presence and His nature.  It is a generous attitude that emanates from our divine character. It is an act of good deed that is shown by service of assistance to others.  2Sam.9:3 And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the King, Jonathan hath yet a son which is lame on his feet. It can extend to people that cannot even pay back.  We all have something to be useful and compassionate with in the society today.  Kindness is a powerful tool that can inspire any one to take a step of love. It is a fruit that expresses two edge benefit even generationally.

Interestingly, goodwill is a valid gold that can purchase any form or level of asset and also it benefits self.  Proverb, 11:17 A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself.  In fact, kindness reduces the purchasing value if not completely removes the cost but offers it for free as favour attracts. For instance, it was an inherent kindness that David showed to the family of Jonathan which made Mephibosheth a benefactor. This is an act of also lifting others as we trade this godly attributesinto lives. It is God’s attitude to humanity that qualifies all the benefits we enjoy in this kingdom. You too can bear the fruit of kindness today in Jesus name.

1.       Father, help us to show kindness also to our enemies as our reward is even great and endless in Jesus name.
