Text: Luke 13:19 (KJV)
It is a grain of mustard seed, which a man took,
and cast into his garden: and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of
the air lodged in the branches of it.
Friends, we should begin to appreciate what we enjoy in this
Kingdom. It is a realm of Spiritual authority that influences our earthly
existence. It is likened as a grain of mustard seed. It exists very differently
from this earthly kingdom. As tiny as a grain, when planted, it grows to become
a massive tree with thick branches which birds use to build nests. So, is a yeast
when added to the dough for bread, the impart of that small quantity is so much
that it spreads into every part of the dough, making it rise to become bread. The
principles which are involved is what we must crave to understand because it is
full of mysteries. We cannot understand with our human intelligence. 1 Corinthians 1:27- But God hath chosen the foolish things
of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the
world to confound the mighty things. The foolishness of God is wiser and
more reliable than any man’s greatest strength or wisdom.
Amazingly, you can’t know Him enough, rather He reveals more
of himself to man. He is far beyond all that you know about Him. So, let’s get back to the scriptures as to
learn more to avoid blinded mind. 2 Corinthians 4:4- In
whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,
should shine unto them. The Gospel is a mystery, and being in the flesh,
we cannot understand His personality and integrity as the carnal mind is enmity
against God and this blinds the people of this world from believing in the
Gospel because we do not see the glorious light in God’s Kingdom. The light therein
shines in our hearts and floods understanding of whom God is. Remember, God is
working in us so that we can have a deep understanding of who he is in Jesus
name.
PRAYER POINT:
1) Oh Lord, help us to hunger for the Word of God like never
before, as to learn and appreciate this kingdom in Jesus name.
Action Quote: Remember, the gospel is full of mysteries which open to us daily.
