An act of Remembrance

 

Text: Mark14:9 (KJV)

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Friends, there is an act that you do that can keep a positive picture of you in the heart of God and man. Yes, some attitude will live a negative image of your personality in most cases.  It is a seed that can answer for you at the time of challenge. So invest in it today.  It can even be that revelation from God that can be a memorial for life and become a pointer for your turning point which is a seed of service. . For example, a woman broke the Alabaster box, and her action has made her known wherever the Gospel has or shall be preached all over the world. Acts 10:4 - And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Interestingly, we can also do a thing that the world can remember us for life.  Yes today, people are sowing evil seeds of remembrance, but you can live a life of positive influence on our society. I am asking now, “What is your seed of memorial in your church, or among your friends, colleagues, and family?” It is a seed that cannot be denied. I pray God will help us to pursue a seed of proper memorial despite the current evil memorials we hear and witness in this generation, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1) Father, help me to erase negative memories in the heart of my environment by developing a better one, in Jesus name.
