Text: 1 Samuel 16:11 (KJV)
And
Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth
yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto
Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
One of the greatest privilege we have from God is that
when it is our set time, distance can never be a barrier to that blessing. That
so-called distance turns around to become an advantage and this is something we
should be thankful for. In our text of today, David was in the field when the
servant of God, Samuel came to anoint the one chosen by God, but the best part
is that since he was chosen by God, they had to send someone to fetch him.
Interestingly, he was in the bush, all of his family
members and Samuel had to wait (they were even standing) until David came. Psalms 78:70- He
chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds. The truth is that David was in his training
process and he did not give up there. That bush experience you might be going
through is actually prepared by God and He is doing that so that you can come
out fully equipped to silence the enemy. David did that assignment given to him
wholeheartedly and God saw his efforts and anointed him. So, I urge you not to
give up in that assignment, because it is leading you to your anointing for a
glorious seat in Jesus name
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father,
please strengthen me to go through my process moment, so that I can arrive at
my anointed sit by my set time in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, God can speedily bring you to the
limelight from behind in a split of seconds.
