Weed off Limitations

 

Text: Psalm 119:96

I have seen a limit to all perfection, Your commandment is exceedingly broad.

The truth is that God has done so much for us, but why do we still hold unto those weeds of limitations? So many people are being held down by circumstances beyond their control but they can all be defeated by a singular attitude.  Many at times, God has already uprooted the limitations in our life, but we still hold unto it and it is not meant to be so. Certain times, we cry and say that there is no productivity in our life, and things are not going well in our life and so on; but have you ever remembered that you are the hindrance to your own growth by not taking simple step to action? That is because we still go back to our vomit or sin after God has purged it out of our lives. The scripture in Jere.1:10b --- to root out, and to pull down and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. God has done it, just act.

Interestingly, it is the truth, but the simple keys that we need to overcome these limitations are clearly spelt out in the word of God as we pull through in prayers. John 17:17- Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. The word of God helps us to lay aside and purges our hearts of limitations, as you hear and read it on a daily basis and it also washes away the unwanted weeds as you continue to dwell in His presence. So, I urge you to always hold unto the word of God, abide in it and get rooted in the right source which is JESUS. It is possible with Jesus in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.      Oh Lord, may all those negative habits that have been difficult to drop finally drop with ease, in Jesus name.
