Text: Galatians 6:9-10
(KJV)
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good
unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
The truth about life is that we leave
memories daily in the mind of people, but the question is, are these memories
good or bad? These memories are based on our actions, but the next question is,
are our actions helping people have a good or bad memory about us? We need to
perform actions that will benefit other people, as well as render help to them
too. Although we live in a world where doing good is taken for granted, we must
still remember that being good can be an opportunity that will favour you later
in life. It says in 2 Thessalonians 3:13- But ye, brethren, be not weary in well
doing. This action of doing good is the core ministry of our saviour
Jesus Christ, who is our role model. The amazing part is that God created these
opportunities for us to sow seed. Friends, I tell you there is no wasted
opportunity for any help you render.Acts 10:38- How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy
Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were
oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
The fact is due to the complexity of
man, people are getting weary in well doing.Always see yourself as a representative of Jesus as you go about
your daily business, and whenever you see an opportunity, do not resist to do
good. So be that instrument and develop an attitude to show respect and
kindness to people. We are saved for good works, so I urge you to stand out in
the dark with your light and shine for help to others. Don’t be distracted;
instead, be committed in that little work or service you are rendering.
Remember, that gift you received is not for only you but for others because you
are a channel, so do not hide it. Doing good is not expensive, just have it in
your mind.
PRAYER POINT:
1.
Oh Lord, open my eyes to see destinies to
render help and help me not to be selfish, in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, you can reap from your many years of good deeds
