Text: Psalm 108:1(KJV)
O God, my heart is fixed, I will sing and give
praise, even with my glory.
There is a question we must answer – Is your heart fixed on
the Lord? Basically, a time comes in life when
the challenges and troubles of the world become too much to handle and in that
case we end up deciding who to lean on even under pressure. We make decisions
which we later regret or start saying “I wish”. But we should have a steadfast heart
with absolute confidence in God. We
should not waver but instead we should have our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus
because He has the solution we are looking for no matter the difficult issue, it
is not impossible with God. Psalm 57:7- My heart is fixed,
O God my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. We are in a period
where we need to take a stand on who we truly believe in. In times like this,
we need to be in a state of absolute confidence on the Master despite the
obstacles. We need to get to a point of being resolute and unmovable in the
Lord by stepping up our faith level. It is time to reflect on the past
victories because in so doing your faith gets strengthened and this results in
you keeping your faith firm. We need to also know that although there are
various options which are so appealing to the eyes, we should still be strong
and courageous just like Joshua and this can only happen by the help of His
Spirit.
Also, we should stand firm with the Word of God by purposing
in our heart to live by the dictate of the scriptures. Amazingly, as we keep
pondering on the scriptures we get transformed and evidences start to show in
our thoughts and minds. Daniel 1:8-But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not
defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he
drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not
defile himself. Man’s
thought is filled with inconsistency but as we keep meditating on the Word of
God, just like a watered garden, you will see refreshed good fruits starting to
grow at all times. I
urge you to remember that our heart has been circumcised for good works, so
walk in that mandate in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, please take us to a place of
tender heart where we shall be ever ready to your instructions in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE:
Friends,
may our hearts always depend on His supply for our glory.
