Text: Psalms
40:2-3 (KJV)
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
Many at times, we tend to forget where God brought us
from, but we should not be too fast to forget them. Remember, there have been previous experiences
and several issues of concern, and he brought us out from deep distress. Each and every one of us has faced some
pressing issues and some destructive challenges in our lives, or if possible,
we are still facing them currently, but our scripture is reminding us that we
will soon sing a new song because God has set us up on a solid rock. We are
above that problem. Cheer up this rock never fails. So that means our sorrow
has been turned into dancing. Hallelujah!!!!
Psalms27:2- When the wicked, even mine enemies
and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Amazingly, although the pit may seem so deep, slippery, or
dry, you just putting your hands in His covenant will result in a breakthrough
because you will come out victorious. I tell you; His outstretched hands will
rescue you, and He does not just bring you out armless, but He also establishes
you; that is because your defense is on the solid rock. Isaiah.62:7-And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a
praise in the earth. God is setting us up, and that place is a place of attraction and
settlement, so rejoice because this will be your portion, in Jesus' name.
PRAYER POINT
1. Thank you Lord, for delivering
us from horrible and deep distresses, in Jesus' name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, sing again because the garment of shame in that pit is over.
