Text: Song of Solomon 2:15 (KJV)
Take us
the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender
grapes.
As Christians, we have the great opportunity of being fruitful because we are chosen to bear tender fruits. This privilege helps us to multiply and bear good grapes despite the little foxes that spoil the vine. Remember, the sweetness of grapes calls for attraction from pests. But we must be vigilant enough to identify them so as not to be a victim rather drop the little foxes. Matthew 8:20- And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Friends, as God’s branch, we ought to bear much more fruits, but some limitations pose as hindrances. Truthfully, these little foxes aim at causing destructions but thank God for the help of God to guide our vineyard as we are that vineyard.
Interestingly, for us to enjoy the harvest and the sweetness of the vine, we need to uproot those foxes which aim at spoiling and delaying our sweet product. It says in John 15:2- Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. It may seem like those little attitudes do not matter now, but we need to lay them at God’s feet so that they will not weigh us down while running. Let us declare the Word of God over those foxes, so DO NOT KEEP QUIET and I pray God will help us, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Oh Lord, I receive boldness to silence every strange
habit around me that is
devouring my tender fruit in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, to watch as to prune the negative fruits around your day.
It is so easy to destroy the tender grapes if not watched over. May the help us to be watchful
