Possess your DOUBLE

 

Text: Isaiah 61: 7(KJV)

For your shame ye shall have double, and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting Joy shall be unto them

Wow. There is no more negative end over that concern from the scriptures above.  Certain times, we go through experiences you never believe one can come out and smile again. Hmmm. Challenge has become the order of the day but the good part is that there is an everlasting joy that awaits us ahead.  We should not allow the very many stories that we hear to affect our confidence because we are not all the same.  Also, that you have heard of similar case that ended on the negative obviously is not you. So don’t claim it rather yours will turn to a double positive experience.  Some kind of reproach can even take away smiles and speeches out of people’s mouth that notwithstanding. But the good news is from our text of today the Lord assures us that God is giving us double honours instead of disgrace as an inheritance in Jesus name AMEN.  Remember, what you are going through, the bible calls it light affliction. Relax, you will smile again. 1Sam.1:5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion: for he loved Hannah: but the Lord had shut up her womb.

Friends, Jesus conveys beauty and rejoicing in place of ashes. Just don't over bother yourself because all the double doses of trouble will turn for you to experience double doses of joy and glory too. What you are passing through is training you to gain practical knowledge as to be equipped for tomorrow's battle. Amazingly, there is God's portion allocated for you as he will settle us after we have suffered for a while. 1Peter.5:10b ...after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. There are things we go through but God allowed them for a reason and we are coming out with double testimony in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, grant us everlasting Joy and glory in place of shame as we stand strong in Jesus name.
