He is Faithful to Cleanse

Text:

1 John 1:9 (KJV)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The truth is life on its own is a teacher even from our mistakes. Those experiences may either be good or bad, and they are usually as a result of our decisions. I tell you, making a mistake is not bad, but dwelling in that mistake is the problem. From the text above, we are told to confess our sins which are mistakes to us as believers and do not go back to your vomit Our God is faithful to forgive us and make us a new. Christ death imputed His righteousness in us. So do not allow pride to hold you down, mistake when repeated more than twice has become a lifestyle which many pride with. We need to cultivate the habit of confessing our mistakes and faults to God. I tell you, sin is dirty and it is what destroys our sweet fellowship with God. As believers who have Accepted, Believed, and Confessed Christ, we have been given access by His Grace, which we must treasure. Sometimes, we may fall out of His Grace due to sin, but we need to confess to Him all our wrong doing and purify ourselves again by allowing Him to cleanse us. Psalms 51:2- Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Interestingly, we have great privilege and that is when we go astray and confess our sins to the Master, He advocates on our behalf to the Father. 1 John 2:1- My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. This is a great privilege, but we should not take it for granted. Although, we were born into this world with sin, but due to us accepting Christ as our Savior, He has given us a new garment. That means old things are passed away and behold all things have become new. Jesus did all of that on the cross by His bloodshed. So, I encourage you to confess those secret deeds to God because He sees all and have forgiven you from your mother’s womb. PRAISE GOD.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Thank you Jesus because we have an advocate who is standing by us as the enemy cannot hold anything against us, in Jesus name.

Action Quote: You can standout and make yourself a remnant for this generation.
