Text: Job
5:12 (KJV)
He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that
their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
Many at times, we see or hear about disappointment, but have you ever thanked God for the plans which you had in mind that did not go according to plan? I believe most of us will say “No”. The truth is, we have heard of testimonies of people who planned for something, but they got disappointed and later on they found out that the plans they had in mind would have led to them losing their lives. Then they end up thanking God for saving their lives, but this should have been done immediately after the disappointment. The God which we serve is so merciful and He sees beyond what we can see, that is why He has already disappointed the evil plans while it is in the conception stage for His name to be gloried. But all of those agendas come to not because God has and will defeat all of them.. Nehemiah 4:15- And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it
was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work. We need to appreciate God for that; that is why it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18a- In everything, give thanks. To always give thanks to God, either in good or bad times.
Beyond the device, there are spoken
words that stand as devices. Isaiah 8:10- Take counsel
together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand:
for God is with us. Our God is more than able
and He can disappoint all their strategies. God is working seriously
behind the scene; there are a lot of unseen battles He fought and ended on our
behalf for His name's sake, so be grateful for that. The fact remains , His’
wisdom is able to navigate and frustrate their devices in Jesus name.

1. Father, please continue to disappoint the invisible
devices that they are manufacturing right now for their operation, in Jesus
name.
