Keep back no more

Text: Acts 5:1-2 (KJV)

¹But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,²And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

There is a gift and a possession in every one of us that we need to express all. Learn not to keep back or hide any price rather we need to release all. but we most of the time tend to keep it to ourselves.There is opportunity to exhibit it and some people are just being selfish with theirs and we disappoint God. God is all seeing, so no matter how much you try to hide grace or be selfish with your gift, He sees it. In our text above, Ananias and Sapphira hid theirs or should I say kept part of it and this resulted in them being punished by God. Acts 5:5 - And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. This tells us that, God’s punishment to us is the worst scenario, so we should stop holdingor hiding your endowmentbecause God has a unique purpose for it.

Also, we need to change our attitude and we can only do this by asking the Holy Spirit for help. We can start today to amend our ways and we just need to surrender to Him. We must also remember that these gifts are giving honor to God and not unto man, so do not try to rob God. Malachi 3:8- Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.The amazing part is that when we express these gifts deposited in us He mysteriously multiples the supplies. So start today to exhibit your special gift to the world and see how God will blessyou in return in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, please help us to respect that which God has deposited in us, so as to showcase them and not keep back in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, may all that is done in secret and in the open bring glory and honour to God's name, in Jesus name.
