Text:
2 Chronicles 20:12O our God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might
against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do;
but our eyes are upon thee.
In life, what do you do when confronted on every side, we should learn to enquire of the Lord. When our faith is small and we want to give up, where do we look up to? It is the nature of man to always run to God at difficult moments. But it should be our way of life enquiring and depending on God for direction daily. To confidently declare “this battle is not yours”, you must know the God of the battle. It is a covenant deal that should be signed when all is well. You should have a form mind of determination to avoid conflict of action, because we are always confronted with confusion on the direction to look up to at all times. It is in the midst of the challenge that your commitment is being tested.
Interestingly, David said my eyes are upon the Lord for He will rescue my feet from the traps and nets of my enemies. God is online 24/7 and no network failure at all. There are dangers on the journey of life which are secret to us but not hidden from God. And we should continue to stir on His face. Psalm 25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Adversities in life are to make you or mare you but where do you look up to? Your confidence in a matter is based on the knowledge and exposure you have on that subject. You cannot fix your eyes on a God you do not have knowledge about. You can grow your trust on Him over time. He doesn’t change but we need to turn our attention to Him. He is constant but we are the variables. You can’t be convinced of Him, if there is no genuine encounter. Friends, let's look up to our God again for his capacity is big enough in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Oh Lord may we remember the victories of the battles of yesterday to continue to fix our eyes unto Him on the current situation in Jesus name.
Action Quote: Friends, don't even blink your eyes stiringat His capacity. Therefore, avoid distractions.
